New Deal.
La Corte sostuvo unánimemente que el congreso había excedido su poder al delegar demasiadas atribuciones legislativas en el presidente y en grupos industriales. Asimismo, estimó que los "códigos de buena práctica de la NIRA rebasaban la reglamentación del comercio entre los estados, porque pretendían controlar la actividad al interior de estos. La Corte consideró aceptable la ley nacional de relaciones laborales (1935), que reemplazó a la NIRA.
